Dick, it was Jr. Also had a .40 and a .42 I think. I was listening (watching) on the Maple Grove site and they announced that Westcott Sr. went 159.66 MPH. I don't think any mine shaft has air that good!

The air at the Dutch was possibly a once in a lifetime experiance ! .......I've recorded air this good maby 2 or 3 times at Atco, but for maple Grove this was exceptional ! ..... When the Stockers ran Thurs. morning the air was minus 500' but the killer was the grains of moisture was only in the high 30's and the vapor pressure was .188 ! ......Baro. was @30.05" for most of the day which is unusual for the Grove ,even this time of year.....When most of the SS and Hemi runs were posted the altitude had risen to about + 100' but with all the V.P. baro. and water grains staying about the same. .......Remember the Grove is 550' above sea level , imagine these conditions at sea level. ....... Tom
