Exclamation Goodbye Moroso Motorsports Park

...and welcome Palm Beach International Raceway

I guess the only thing left after the sale was the name...and now it's gone too.

Press Release from Palm Beach International Raceway:

New ownership and total renovation of Moroso Motorsports Park (RIP)

Jupiter, Florida: Following a total renovation, a new Palm Beach International Raceway has emerged. This striking transformation is now well under way, and the completion of an all-new road course, currently awaiting FIA approval, has transformed the look and feel of the facility.
The new owners are also proud to announce their Wayne McMurtry-designed all-concrete drag strip with excellent run-off and safety facilities. As the track meets the latest safety standards in all forms of drag racing, it can accommodate one-eighth mile, Junior Dragster, quarter-mile Sportsman and Pro classes if and when the sanctioning bodies and teams wish to return to this new facility.

Testing dates for drag strip and road course will be announced next week.

Keep your eye on Palm Beach International Raceway—it’s on the move

Cool Re: Goodbye Moroso Motorsports Park

I hope the "International" in the new name is a hint to what sanction it will be under.

Thumbs up Re: Goodbye Moroso Motorsports Park

These guys are serious and it's getting better!!! This is by far the best advertising EVER by the facility...even better than Dick Moroso did right after he bought the track!!! Wahl I hope you're reading...found this on http://www.dragracingonline.com/agen...20-x_10-7.html tonite...

Following a positive showing with Bahrain sponsorship, Scott Revell, partner of Palm Beach International Raceway and Wilson Manifolds, has signed a three-race deal with Ken Black to title sponsor Hillary Will’s Top Fuel dragster for the three remaining events of 2008.

Fellow class racers...safe to say you can now put the past behind you.

I'm reading Gary. You can't blame me for being pessimistic. The SSSSA has been trying to get a date in the near future for a race at Palm Beach. It seems electrical work is pushing everything back a little. We shall see. Jim
