Default Big dollar stock/super stock races!

Anyone interested in getting together and contesting big dollar stock/superstock races for next year please contact me. Example:$ 250 entry with 100 cars = $25,000, $500.00 entry with 100 cars = $50,000. We should all be getting together and having these type of races with larger purses and more payback.

Talk to Lex at Maple Grove, he spoke to me about this in the summer, i think it is a good deal, just the track will want some, long as they are not whores at the gate, oh ya have to do this on off time with no Div. or National around, but anyone who thinks about it, can see the Diff. on pay day, Lex wanted it for Super class also, don't know his #, but look under Maple Grove Raceway, ya should find it.

I agree Brian and I think we can get tracks to agree to it and come up with a program that works for the track owners, plus the racers will get paid at the track.

Make it worth everyones time, copy the format of the big bracket races like the one Atco and Tom Stalba host in august. Make it a 3 day race with 3 seperate races. Include Buy Backs so racers and the track can make more money. Dont reinvent the wheel.

I second that! The format that is run at Stalba's race is pretty good. Def no reason to reinvent the wheel. If NHRA and IHRA cars were allowed to both compete it would ensure that there were enough cars to run seperate stock and super stock classes. Buybacks are also a plus for the racer and the track! This is the type of races we need to have available to us. I have spent alot of my time bracket racing this year. The money is definetely better than class racing unless you have the opportunity to attend alot of national events where the money is very good. I will not attend the Richmond National Event and also the Atco Divisional for this reason. It is 5000 and 2500 to win the footbrake class those weekends at my home track Numidia Dragway, which is 17 miles from my house. I love Stock Eliminator, but I also like getting paid the same day if I do well! We really need to all get together and organize some of these races for next season!

buy backs would be a 100% guarantee that I won't be there. No buyback is just one of the many reasons alot of class racers are class racers and not bracket racers. Otherwise i think its a great idea. The man to talk to is Mike Fuqua, his race every year is always a big hit.

The man said high dollar Stock and Super Stock races. Don't believe they have much to do with buy backs.

There is at least one $1,000.00 race for the big dawgs. A couple of those each year would be fun to watch. Heads up racing and tear down for the final pair. But the entries would probably drop to about 12 - 16 per race.
