I don't want any heat from the guys for hijacking Jack's thread. I bought my car from a guy out of Maine and had it shipped to Texas. He did mention Jim Whalen's name. He did not know much about the history of the car. It did have a faint SS/L on the rear quarter windows when I got it. It still has a 1994 inspection sticker on it from Lebonan Valley.I sure would like to know more about it if you know anything. Pictures would be great, engine combos, etc. I run a 327/275, but starting to put pieces together for a 283/220 combo. Thanks ED

hi ed , that car was owned by my friend jim whalen , it used to be jimmy spells s/s car , jim whalen bought the car through one of the taylor brothers about 15 years ago and bracket raced it, i am glad to see someone has interest in s/s racing it again it is an excellent car, i will try to find jim whalens ph # for you , i told him i saw pics of it on the internet last year and he was interested to know where the car went.
