Default 4 Jet ?

Where should I start with jetting on my 4 jet 283 super stocker? sea level. Carb is currently been dialed in for denver and I have no clue where to start. Not going on dyno so any advice would be great.

Try 64 in the front and 66 in the rear as a starting point.. Are you using the lower air door? If so is it operable or locked open?

OOPS! should have read the post closer - I ran a Stocker. I have no business commenting on a Super Stocker.

Try talking to Dean Oliver. He is the master when it comes to SS and Stock 4GC's. I think it will be important to understand who prepped the carb or what has been done among other things. I run a stocker and generally stockers are jetted richer than SSers with the 4GCs. Hard to really answer without more specific info.
