Same rules as last year I think, I could be wrong.

Rather than begging horsepower reductions, I know one B/SA car that is busy making more power. I'm sure you'll see it next year.

Jarod,
Merry Christmas to you, mom and Family.

NHRA should. I am sure there are warranted requests for reductions however it’s one thing needing that reduction and another to take advantage of the system. Not faulting the racers. Faulting the loopholes exploited.

Yes Larry, it was wrong last year and the year before and....

NHRA ARE YOU LISTENING ¿

If your combo is hurt I see no shame in taking advantage of the game..but a solid combo and wacking it season after season is just being lazy

It’s the usual SUSPECTS year after year. It is a shame because there are combos out there that really need ASSISTANCE ....Wonder who will be the first one that walks around the pits with their CHEST stuck out after they record a one second under run ?? ......

This is why I care less and less about my class for each year going,I KNOW of guys that decided to loose headsup races not to mess up their request for taking HP off next year, this is just to silly for me anymore, good ting it's gonna make my exit a lot easier than I first though!

The numbers from Indy could become very useful when dealing with sandbaggers asking for horsepower reductions. Let's say if a competitor has already run more than 1.00 under with the same car and combination within the past 3 years at Indy, that he/she is not elidgeble for a reduction. Also, if a racer asks for and receives a reduction and then lays down a pass of 1.00 or more under at Indy the following season - then that combination should get all the horsepower back.

Smile Re: Which Combo's are most likely to get HP added or subtrac

I posted this elsewhere but here’s a idea that think would help on 2 big issues

Accept 80 entries to all National Events,
All stock and SS fields 64 car qualified fields
Only extra time would be 1st day, eliminations still 6 rounds.
This will ensure some of the 1000 foot **** would stop.
Doesn’t effect really the alloted 6 Rounds they have us scheduled for.
Let’s more racers enter and NHRA collects more $.
(Lord knows we’re gonna enter we already have that proof)

AHFS might have a little more gumption as I would say at a Pomona or some other good tracks might take .90 plus to get in.

My 2 cents for what it’s worth
