Drill baby drill!
"if the US does all this drilling it won't make a discernable difference in the price" I forget which democrat said this but they all believed it. Funny how the truth always comes out eventually.

Never heard anybody say that. Lots of people around here (Oklahoma) that did that drilling are not happy right now.

I can tell you first hand what drilling will do because my family had drilling rigs for over 40 years. In 1980 oil peaked at $35.00 a barrel and after six years of the drilling oil boom the price of oil in 1986 was under $10.00 per barrel.American oil drillers went broke and look what OPEC did to our *** years later in 2008 with a barrel of oil at $147.00 per barrel. Will history repeat it self once again?

The bottom line is that OPEC does not like the USA producing it's own oil.
Smarter, more well informed people than I have publicly stated that the drop in oil pricing is due to Saudi Arabia opening the flood gates to punish Russia, for their support of Syria's Assad family and their support of Iran's nuclear program.

As to Al Anabi's pulling out of North american racing operations, here is a link to a good article /interview showing how AlAnabi operates.

There were post on other sites several weeks ago, that the sheik had gotten in some trouble, and was not going to be around... Don't remember all the details. Some people were expecting the plug to be pulled. Did not have anything to do with oil or gas prices.

Wonder how much truth there is to that rumor?

Very interesting read. Thank you for sharing. That is a messed up deal! I would have never known those things go on behind the scenes.

You lie down with dogs, you get up with fleas. No sympathy for anyone who sold their soul to this guy and got hosed. Even I knew it would not end well when they got involved over here and I've never even stayed at a Holiday Inn Express.

I've read many posts that the Sheik had a white powder problem over here and daddy wasn't happy.

If I recall there were statements made from Larry Dixon about there being a problem of some sort when he parted ways with them. Oil has nothing to do with this IMO.
