With the way the infections are increasing I can easily see the season not starting back up until late this year. What happens if you have a bunch of credits from cancelled nationals but don't go to enough divisonals to keep up your grade points and can't get into the nationals close to you next year? Doubt NHRA will refund you.

This is true Michael but everyone will obviously be in the same situation next year with lack of grade points unless they try to actually make up all the postponed division races later in the year. Also I think it was Charley who said rumor has it the credit may be good for 2 years.

Do you race? What’s the last national event you went to? No your missing the point, I am definitely a glass half full guy, have you not seen the letter from NHRA? Just posted. Couple days ago? Even NHRA doesn’t know when they will start back up, so for them to still be taking peoples money even though they aren’t even scheduling races isn’t right, but hey you must be one of those guys that has more money than brains and is entering all these national events even tho we don’t know when racing will resume.

For your knowledge I was at South Georgia, baby gators and the gator nationals a couple weeks ago, were you there?? We’re you listening to the announcers talking about the current issue? My guess is no

Yes I do race. I raced in Pomona in February. I did read the NHRA letter that talked about planning to start racing again for the Houston National event in April. That was April 2020. You’re the only one I’ve heard mentioning not racing all year. Don’t be part of people over reacting to this situation. The current situation is serious enough without panicking. Here in TX, Dallas will go into a “shelter at home” order tomorrow at midnight. Of course all of these situations are subject to change but many news agencies are beginning to report previous positive Covid-19 are recovering. My glass is half-full and rising.

Now that NHRA has completely cancelled all Div 1 national events, how’s that withdrawal policy looking now Bruce Noland? Other than the maple grove national, if they decide to have sportsman, this is all I was asking, so all these people that paid to enter nationals even though NHRA was shut down, and everyone jumped down my throat about me thinking it wasnt ethical that NHRA was still taking peoples money, now what?

In the meantime, I was able to enter Houston national event as a Grade 2 thanks to this thread...it reminded me that I should be looking at these events that may have been unattainable for my grade before now.

Before anyone jumps on me about not having more grade points...I didn't even have a stocker available to me until October last season so I got as many as I feasibly could have given my work situation at the time. Before the end of this season, I should be either a grade 6 or 7 depending on how the LODRS schedule shakes out.

I totally agree if they were shut down that means shut down!
they should not have taken anyone’s money, besides are they going to pay you interest on that money they’re holding?????
say you entered four or five events, that’s quite a bit of money to be sitting for a year

nhra had no choice. And I don't think you give a darn about anybody but yourself. You're not out here trying to protect the racers or their money. Every other word out of your mouth/keyboard is I. There will be an equitable solution for the folks who have actually entered. Did you actually enter any of the canceled races?

We all know NHRA does not give refunds, in my opinion the entry list should also be on hold until NHRA makes their decision on the season and dates, but I see guys entering still so who am I I guess......
You mentioned yourself 7 times in this one lame post and complained about having to watch the entry list. As far as racing is concerned, I haven't been racing for 3 years due to a new car build but I started racing when you were still pooping in your diapers.

So because I’m younger than you men’s I don’t have an opinion? If I mentioned myself it’s because I mention my experiences, you admit you ha my raced in 3 years and still ah e what 8 grade points? That’s a broken system and you know it, bogus grade points
