Now that NHRA has completely cancelled all Div 1 national events, how’s that withdrawal policy looking now Bruce Noland? Other than the maple grove national, if they decide to have sportsman, this is all I was asking, so all these people that paid to enter nationals even though NHRA was shut down, and everyone jumped down my throat about me thinking it wasnt ethical that NHRA was still taking peoples money, now what?

In the meantime, I was able to enter Houston national event as a Grade 2 thanks to this thread...it reminded me that I should be looking at these events that may have been unattainable for my grade before now.

Before anyone jumps on me about not having more grade points...I didn't even have a stocker available to me until October last season so I got as many as I feasibly could have given my work situation at the time. Before the end of this season, I should be either a grade 6 or 7 depending on how the LODRS schedule shakes out.

I totally agree if they were shut down that means shut down!
they should not have taken anyone’s money, besides are they going to pay you interest on that money they’re holding?????
say you entered four or five events, that’s quite a bit of money to be sitting for a year

That was my thought exactly, now look at people, obviously the people entering these events can afford to, that’s why we do this, but it’s just not right, they should have stopped the event schedule on the spot.

As it should have been from the start of the shut down, that was my only point

nhra had no choice. And I don't think you give a darn about anybody but yourself. You're not out here trying to protect the racers or their money. Every other word out of your mouth/keyboard is I. There will be an equitable solution for the folks who have actually entered. Did you actually enter any of the canceled races?

It's all a waiting game now but I'm curious to see if we have to re-enter for a race that has already met the quota. Ex. The charlotte 4 wides that was schedule in april is moved to sept, the quota was met...is that the field for the rescheduled race or do we have to re-enter. I guess we'll just wait and see.

I will be pissed if they open it back up for entries, I had to do some fancy maneuvers to get in this time.
