No contest for me. 4th Gen Camaro or Firebird with a LT1. Not because of the motor. It is because they have a huge rear hatch that is darn near like air conditioning when you open it in the lanes.

My choice would depend on track prep. Hot and slick the 101'' WB car, good track the orange Camaro. Merry Christmas Mr. Jim.

From my experience, which pales in comparison to Billy's, is the 396 BBC. They tend to fall-off less in the heat of the summer compared to the SBC EFI combo. But......... Give me good spring or fall air, and I'll take the LT1.

I see you didn't mention the 2015 LS "street car".
Probably because it just took a a big hp hit and it's a dead player now.
