I'll guarantee you that Ford is not pleased. They view themselves as a "family" oriented business. They do not like controversy or any type of edgy advertising. The mouth made a mistake with his daughter.

The way these companies make decisions takes a LONG time! This didn't have anything to do with what happened of late!
If people at the top change and the new arrivals aren't fans of drag racing they look a lot more closely at the ROI and how could it possibly be good with the customers they are aiming their advertising at?

I intentionally did not buy Castrol because of the Force Flying Circus.

I used to use Pennzoil because that's what Da Grump said he used.

I highly doubt John force will have trouble finding sponsorship to replace castrol. But at worst you may see a bunch of small teams pop up? Could this be a good thing?

Really I am just saying. Either you love John Force or you don't. Myself I think he is good for NHRA. He give ALL his sponsors credit. Everyone of them. Every one at JFR when on TV credits theirs sponsors. They couldn't ask for any more air time.
Just saying but what do I know. I am old. Lol

Bobby, you're no dummy, that's for damned sure.

Also, Bill is correct, these decisions were a long time in the making. If they were really upset about Miss Force's photos, you'd have heard some statements distancing themselves from the Force group.

The fact is, like him or not, Force is a big personality, he's quick to give credit to those behind him, he's quick to say what is on his mind, the guy is candid, all of that is good for the sport. His "rags to riches" story is very good for business, in many ways.

I find it amusing how people with extoll the virtues of that B.S. Asher spewed, while at the same time they bad mouth Force. Well, Force, his personality, and his showmanship is what Asher says is needed.

That's not to say that I agree with Asher, because I absolutely do not agree that we need a "show" at the expense of real racing. It's not working for NASCAR. It won't work for NHRA.

Don't kid yourself. They only make a long term decisions when there is a long term contract. They also do like lawsuits. End of my story, your all smarter than me.

I loved John Force the truck driver. I can't stand John Force the corporate *** kisser. I do understand why he has to be that way it takes cubic dollors to run a team like his.

Maybe if NHRA chose to spread their air time around instead of being the Farce show it would help racing as a whole.
