My original number was 1312 becasue my brother had 1313 and uncle had 1314. 8 years ago my youngest daughter comes up to me and says Daddy my birthday isn't the 12th? I said "honey I know and she says well you have Sarah's birthday on the window the 13th and mine should say the 17th, I immediately called NHRA and changed to 1317. You have to love little kids.

My IHRA number is 4340, we have run small block Mopars since shortly after Eve tempted Adam with the apple. Someone else has it in NHRA.

1547 was the E.T. of the first NHRA National Record my brother and I set in 1973 at the Suffolk National Open -- I was driving my '73 Ventura R/SA at the time .............Can't believe that was 37 years ago and I still remember .

The number I was given by NHRA was 1220 which just happens to be my birthday. I got lucky and was able to get the same number for IHRA. Then a few years ago I renewed my NHRA membership and got my membership card in the mail. About a month went by and I realized I didn't get my Competition license so I called NHRA and asked why and they said I never renewed it even though I checked the box on the paper work. It was their fault and things happen so I told the woman I would like to take care of it and she in a not so kind way told me they released my number and someone else already had it after only 1 month. It was NHRA's mistake but I was told too bad I couldn't get my number back. Thank you NHRA.

Now I know who had it previous to me Ken.I was always the black sheep of the family.
Jim I believe you can pick an out of Div # if you claim it as your home div.
Jack, didn't they use 2 digit #s when you started?
Another # that's interesting is 4426.
