My # is 1945,the year I was born.Why have you chosen your # and what is the #
One # I'm curious about.4406.Does anyone have it and is it a Mopar guy with a 440 six pack?

4406, should be Teuton's number..... SHOULD be.

I can't think of anyone more Mopar ingrained in D4 than Teuton.

1302 came from when I raced a Ford, had a 302 motor. Just kept it. I had #18 in IHRA for two years, in the good old days.

Was the easiest number Betty Holt could give me on the printout. BTW I'm positive Mr. Teuton was offered 4406, but passed it up because it may decode his actual age (Sorry Jeff....this one was wide open :D:D:D)

I've been waiting for this thread. Ed, I had your number (1945) before you did. And for the same reason. This would have been about 1975, before they started using the geographic division number as the first digit in the competition #. Maybe we were separated at birth? Mom always said I was the good lookin' one. I also worked for a N.G. utility. And, like you, Soc.Sec. just doesn't quite cover the cost of racing. Thus, no comp # currently. Paradoxically, I'm so dad-gum wealthy, the CS decision makers at the VA denied my application.

Nothin special about my number. It's the same one Buster Couch gave me in tech at the Gators about the dawn of civilization. I have the same # for Stock, Super Stock and Super Street. Jim

I called the IHRA and told them where I live and wanted a no. I told the lady that I really wanted 1964 but that I didn't live in Div. 1 so I told her to just send me one.
When I got my paperwork I was given 1964! Now I have a matching no's 1964 Plymouth.
