Gregg,

Are you talking about the Hemi convertible? If so, sonny used to bracket race it in AL between events, I often wondered what happened to the car.

Jim- I hate to hijack the thread, but if you are referring to the 70 hemicuda that Sonny drove for the Collins and Jones team, I bought that Cuda from Phil Collins in 1990 and I still currently race it in NHRA SS/DA and SS/EA. Far as i know, it is the only SS Hemi convertible that is actively being raced. Search www.autoimagery.com "mike bogina" for about 70 or so pics.

Eddie and Mike were able to get rid of a LOT of stuff before the IRS got involved. Family dispute started long ago!!!

Mike,

Sonny, David Rampy, Horace and other AL racers used to come to this little dinky strip called Green Valley and race 1/8th mile brackets. It was sort of a gathering of friends to race for a couple of hundred dollars. Really a lot of fun!

I think Greg has given the answer. The guru of 68 hemis is Mark Janaky. He and Dell Jones have the most documented info and photos around. Great source of factual info.

I'll ask dad about this car, he knows quite a bit of info about all the cars that came to GV. He was there every weekend..
