Dunno about all that... wussed out after the .001 in the semis, and dumped 5 psi out of the fronts for the final! Didn't think I had hit it that hard. Kinston's rollout just happened to be a great match for the Volare and I.

Good thing YOU weren't there, Britt, that's all I can say! I think I owe you more than one these days... you going to Skyview?

Michael,

Since you run both cars, in the REAL WORLD, what is the weight difference between a '72 Duster and a Volare / Aspen coupe with identical equipment? Ballpark figure is fine... I realize a '73 Duster is a little heavier.

Thanks for any information..

Bill

My supplier never did make that material/printing process available. Sorry! That sucks, because I've had a number of people ask for that kind of application.

I have no idea, since my '74 Duster is a bracket car, all gutted out, I'm afraid. I would guess that the F-Body cars would *have* to be heavier, given later year safety standards, heavier bumper & suspension systems.

I just found these curb weights listed online, for Volare's... http://www.moparautos.com/volare78-80.htm
'78 3,140
'79 3,050
'80 3,200

But I found another source that said 3,395, which seems more reasonable to me.

There's a bunch of Duster weights for various years here:
http://auto.howstuffworks.com/1970-1...h-duster13.htm

Hope this helps,

Cool Re: Beard at it again.

The NHRA classification guide has the individual shipping weights listed on the far right of the charts
