Congratulations to Jay Slane on winning the first SSSSA points championship and making it to the final at Gainesville. Anybody who knows Jay, knows that he is a great guy as well as one very tough cowboy! Congratulations also to a couple of other fine gentlemen - Merrill Schrimscher on winning the Gainesville race and Mike Pearson for finishing second in the points standings.

Our car went out in the first round at Gainesville, but we had a great time visiting with fans and other racers. Thanks to Jim Woods, Jim Wahl, Tina Summerton Connie, Hammer, Tom and Sean Ward and Sean Haning for all that you have done to make things happen with the Southern Stock/Super Stock Association this year. We look forward to racing in the SSSSA series events next year!

Awsome job all season. Congratulations on the season championship. Two runner ups and alot of round wins. You blew away the competition. Thanks for your help getting my car back together. I had a great time racing with you at the SSSSA races. It was real fun finishing 1 and 2. We both have been driving real good and the cars have been reliable. Cant wait until next year.

On a side note none of this would have been possible with out Jim Woods dedication to getting this association started. To say it has been as success would be an understatement. We had 30 cars at the final event in gainsville. Thanks Jim and Connie. Thanks to all of the other dedicated SSSSA organizers Jim Wahl, Tom and Sean Ward, Tina Summerton, The Hammer. Keep up the great work.Thanks to all of the other stock, Super Stock racers and all of the sponsors who supported us all year.There were also some individuals that posted contingency awards for win, runner up and best package. Thank You. I will be ready for next season. Hopefully everyone will come out and support this great series.

congrats Jay on your 2008 championship in the ssssa. You earned every bit of it all year. To have you and your partner in crime be number 1 & 2 was an awesome feat, especially with the very tough competition we had in the series. Congrats to you also Mike Pearson for the total dedication you have shown since the inception of this association. It's people like you two that makes racing fun and keeps fans returning.

First of all I just want you to know what a great group of racers you all are! Thank you so much for all the kind words. ( I am looking to whoop you guys next year though) To Jim and Connie, Jim W., Ward family, Tina, Hammer, Sean ( Awesome pictures) and Rick Oswalt( Great Surmon) and anyone else that helped make this year a great sucess. THANK YOU SO MUCH! Special thanks to my best friend Mike Pearson who is always at my side in good times and bad. I wouldn't be the racer I am today without him. We have been friends for over 30 years. To bad we didn't have a banquet I could of provided the BEEF!....1500 lbs. You all have a Merry Christmas and a Safe New Year!
