IHRA is seriously the way to go for sportsman racers...more bang for your buck and less fuss.

All Provisional entries (Gold, Silver, Past Event and Past World Champions) must be completed online by Monday at 1 p.m. (Pacific time) the week of the event.
Not to pee in anyones wheaties but this is the only part of the rules that I have never agreed with. I f someone 20 years ago was a word champ they can get in any national??????

I don't see where the rest of it affects most of us.
Chris,
and you always ask me why I run IHRA...LOL!
......Ya Chris! If my calculations are correct you could travel less than 1,200 miles & run 8 IHRA Divisionals & 2 Sportsman Nationals (none of which conflict w/ the NHRA Sced.) & Have a shot @ the "BIG Invite" @ The Rock in October??!!

Fast brackets or ORP points for us. $$$$ & hassle isn't worth it anymore.

I don't see how that affected any of us....so what...

the driver change thing is a huge pain in the butt...and most of us did it to get around the system anyway

besides .....there probably won't be anybody entered this year....

Go to 5-6 points races, enter a national event, race with the pros. What is the big deal? There are people out there (Chris) that enter an event with a silver card and then pull out so a friend can enter (Pete) and then get back in, all to not have the car ready for the event. That's what I get for trying to run super comp anyway.

I have a new plan to piss off NHRA this year. I am going to show up at every national event and run Super Street! I don't have a back up plan when they don't let me in though.....any ideas?
