Remember the mass of the seat {and it's occupant} will try to continue in motion. ....By reducing the mass of the seat of the seat ,you will reduce its energy........Also, most OEM seats only have an "E" clip, or push nut holding the seat back to the base,and are easily twisted apart. ....Tom

I cant believe its not mandatory in the cars running in the 9's, hell they are running faster than SG and the dont have to have a neckbrace or wear gloves? Leave it up to the driver if they want a racing seat or not what's the deal will it make the driver better? I would feel safer in a seat where the belts are mounted properly, are attached to the floor in a non failure position.
