One of devices used by NHRA is very sensitive. If the device is not cleaned properly for the next check, it can make the next fuel check fail. Also, it is powered by 9V batteries and they need to be replaced frequently.

And they give you these used, dirty cups to fill with your fuel...what a joke! I have my own sterile / sealed in the car for times like these.

Using a dirty cup would be like having your blood drawn with a well used syringe!
