Default SSSSA @ Super Chevy Teaser

The weather wasn't too friendly to us but we were able to battle back and get our qualifying runs in. Woodro Josey is our number 1 qualifier going into tomorrow's eliminations. We've had a couple breakages, but over-all everyone is pleased with the car count and the fans are really interested in our cars. Hopefully the weather holds out and we can get our full event in tomorrow. I'll post up more tomorrow night.

Mark, The Biscyane is actually a very dark green, I asked the guy if it was for sale. He said "Hell no!" Jim

Yes, the original 409 car was green and not for sale. The one I posted was the 509 big block car that was black.

ed, we had many cars from our association that was deserving of the best appearing award, however the 56 of ted simpson definately stood out from the crowd. it also runs as good as it looks.that high winding 265 was music to the ears. this was by far the most fun drag race i have ever attended. Chris and Kevin from nitroplate along with roger gustin and jeff taylor from superchevy were the most gracious and friendly sponsors i have ever been around.thank you all , including the racers who showed up to make this a spectacular show for everyone. Ed Zinke , the publisher for super chevy magazine was in attendance and also deserves a big thank you for supporting the southern stock/superstock association.

Thumbs up Re: SSSSA @ Super Chevy Teaser

Sean, thank you for the pictures and the help, keep up the good work. That is a good picture of dad's car. Jim, it was good to meet you this weekend you guys worked real hard to make the show go smooth, and the way you handled what happened to Hugh, was the right thing to do. Also, my father and I were very pleased and suprised to receive best appearing, we will definitely be back and run more races. Also a big thanks goes out to Chris and Kevin of NitroPlate for the way that they support sportsman racing, class act, you have our business.
