The Northern Indiana weekend forecast is for rain, rain and more rain. Osceola Dragway track manager Tim Medich, who has been following the weather patterns all week, looked at the 40 to 70 percent chance of rain forecasted from Friday through Monday, decided along with IHRA division director Joel Thompson to postpone this weekend’s scheduled Summit Racing Equipment Pro-Am event.
“The crew at Osceola has been working all year to make dramatic improvements to their facility,” Thompson said. “With the track being a daytime facility we thought it was in the best interest of all to not take a chance and reschedule this weekend’s event. With the continued high cost of travel this is the best decision for our competitors in the region.”
The rescheduled date will be posted on ihra.com as soon as it is finalized
