What happened to R J Sledge

Does anyone know what happened to R J ? I heard he was headed for the barn and I didn't see his name for 1st round

Rj won class, but spun a bearing in the finals. He went ahead and pulled a piston to see how bad it was. He passed tech but couldn't make the call for 1st round.
