What I'm wondering is, Where is Fred Henson and that bad 68 Dart of his. He still has the quickest pass for a Hemi Car thus far, I think? 8.48 @ 153ish I think. Too bad he won't be there though

Steve Kent has a brand new Eastex Car with a stick in it with no runs. Maybe a dark horse.

Nobody has been running so much quicker than everybody that they can't be beat. There are probably 5-8 cars that have the ability to run within 5 hundredths of each other. Not a big enough advantage to protest yet, in my opinion anyway.

Bummer about Fred not being able to drive . Dave Wren has had his old 68 Cuda SS/AA out last weekend at Mission running brackets, same deal on license but 10.0 at 80 mph is better than not seeing that car ever run again.

What's Team Holton up to?

Travis Hess posted on another board that on the way to Indy Bucky narrowly missed getting into an accident with the rig. He said he had to slam on the brakes and the golf cart got into the front of the car. He didn't elaborate on the damage. Hope everything is good. Good luck to everyone going to Indy....and be safe out there!

There was a post on another forum this morning that Bucky had a near miss on the road on the way to Indy late last evening. They said he was OK, but the golf cart broke loose and slammed into the front of the car. They did not say how bad the car was damaged, but it just seems like Bucky can't catch a break here the last few weeks.

I'm sure Fred would like to be there. He is has been unable to get medical clearance for his SS license.

To my understanding Fast Fred is physically unable to get NHRA license. But you're right it's a shame no one is driving the car.
