Bruce,
I was speaking hypothetically looking forward. Looking forward thru my crystall ball, everybody is driving the trick of the year car. One year it's all LS1 F-Body's and GTO's, next year the Challengers, Then the 2010 Camaro's, and on and on... Once NHRA starts making these groupings pretty much mandaitory the bump at Indy will go up. That's just the nature of racers. Many will try to be the top dog in the trick of the year car. That will have everybody name calling because on Monday their car just got fatter.

Jeff,
Valid observation. Especially with the OEM'S getting back into it. But, I have heard that GM is very low on bucks and unsure about the Camaro. I hope I'm out of it if and when total chaos sets in.
