There are so many people making statements and presenting it as fact, because they think if they say it is has to be true.
This is for the people that don't have a clue. NHRA in the past paid Stock & Super Stock racers qualifying money. NHRA paid the first round loser in a qualified field, which are Class Winners and the fastest of the losers. In addition, it's not Class Winner Bump In; it's that the losers get a chance to race because they need a full field to cut down on bye runs. The field can be 32 car, 64 car or 128 car (that's as high as the ladders go) As usual along with NHRA not getting it, it also appears that a lot of Class Racers (or want to be) don't get it either.
