I am thinking flip lanes because of oil downs.

I thought I heard that NHRA said they will only use 2 lanes for the national event.

I hear the pros now get buy-backs. Extra 2 lanes is for them only. If a sportsman puts oil on the track he has to clean it up himself, during that time, competition moves to the other track.

Apparently from what we were told, the national event will only use the left two lanes closest to the main grandstands. Not even sure how they eventually expect to use "four lanes." We weren't given a real "plan" as to their use. The logistics of using four lanes at a national event level could be mind-boggling. That whole exercise could be very interesting, maybe even a lesson in futility.
