Where should I start with jetting on my 4 jet 283 super stocker? sea level. Carb is currently been dialed in for denver and I have no clue where to start. Not going on dyno so any advice would be great.

Try 64 in the front and 66 in the rear as a starting point.. Are you using the lower air door? If so is it operable or locked open?

Try talking to Dean Oliver. He is the master when it comes to SS and Stock 4GC's. I think it will be important to understand who prepped the carb or what has been done among other things. I run a stocker and generally stockers are jetted richer than SSers with the 4GCs. Hard to really answer without more specific info.

I moved from Colorado Springs to Oklahoma and when I arrived in Colorado i talked to some BB impala guys and all they did was put more timing in my motor. So when I got back I took some tming out and ran the same Jetting.
