I believe that there would be a better mix of cars and or trucks if it was class winners and then the rest. Is it not the racers fault no one else built a same class car. Comp style racing belongs in comp. If your the only one in class you still have to run on or below the index to get into the eliminator. Talk about folks stepping it up to get in on time after class winners that will make racers pullout the stops. Indy where AHFS does not belong.

Larry, I agree with all of the above EXCEPT for the last sentence. Just how long should a 2 second under truck with a ridiculously soft HP factor be protected?

I did not have anything to do with the Hp on the truck. For us it was cheep class car for us to build so Chris could race the Cuda and I the truck. Last time I checked the truck is 29 Hp up from stock.
Back to your question I don?t know but, Indy is the place to Show and Tell without any worries.

I'm devastated to hear about your troubles. Do tell us how hard it is to be so high achieving. Me personally, I am so glad I don't have to live with the crushing weight of being the envy of my peers. Thank goodness I'm not one of those people who is constantly bloviating about how hard it is to be successful.

This is what you sound like.^

Hey Dawson, if you worked hard on your combination as your Internet presence
Maybe you?d have something worth racing
Where do you see me bragging
You don?t fit into this conversation
This conversation pertains to..
Is stock eliminator a performance class?
Just pointing out that I have an issue with my combo
You have enough trouble, just qualifying without worrying about who your opponents gonna be 1st round
Think about that.
It?s not super street.

can I ask a question ? As I dont have a dog in the fight but love watching from afar .
If St/SSt is a performance eliminator but noone seems to want to run all in due to going too fast - possible HP hit .
WHY do racers keep chasing more and more HP .
WHY do racers keep wanting more aftermarket items ? Apart from items no longer available .
WHY build a car that goes 1 or 1.5 etc under but never use it or only complain you cant use it ? Or complain if a racer does actually use it .
Really it seems the only time you can go mostly all in is heads up in class , rest of the time is dyo to lesser or more degree .
I bracket race , ET 10.00 - 12.99 , and the same happens here whether too fast ET or too fast for required safety gear .
It just seems like a contradiction .

Oh, I?m sorry. You don?t like people introducing themselves to conversations that don?t pertain to them? Well me neither. Remember when you got in my comment section and started talking trash about me? Cause I remember that.
