If they have Class folks might be surprised who might show up. Racers want to know who is the fastest and will spend time and money to find out.

The problem is they aren't going to expand the event out to 5 days (4 racing, 1 T&T) due to costs for the facility, I totally get it that class is a big thing for Stock / SS racers but with D1 having 8 Divisionals this year and other options for doubles / triples in D2 & D3 I will think the rest of the classes will be pretty thin (20-30 per class in .90, 10 comp cars, 12-16 top & top, 20-25 8.50 cars). The Dutch just isn't what it used to be and that hurts to say that because it used to be one of my favorite events, the last party before the long winter break. Last year was amazing but only because the Dutch became a D1 Points event when VMP cancelled but the year before they only had like 234 cars total when I talked to Kyle...hence why we finished on a Saturday instead of Sunday. Tracks are feeling it just like we are in the cost department and any day that they don't have to bring employees in or waste glue for an event they could get in a day it's a win-win for them.

My thought is this;
Now is a great opportunity for the Dutch Classic to become the great race is once was. It seems to me that many of the big dogs are disappointed that the NHRA put the kibosh on Indy and want to strut their stuff.
I'm getting greedy but should also include the Hemi Shootout.
