Default Tornado season in Kentucky ?.

Late last night a Tornado touched down in Somerset, Ky… Just received word that current K/s record holder and ALL AROUND nice guy Mike Taylor was not affected by the devastation. Prayers for all families that were not so fortunate….

Thanks MJ.. We were very fortunate AKA BLESSED was told by someone watching a live tracking it was headed straight for where my shop is,which is also where we live too.. Then on west side of town just a few miles away at the 914 bypass it split and went north, then came back together about 1000' north and curved around about 1000' behind us...
demolished buildings 1000' away and did'nt even move a thing out of place here.
I had empty plastic flower pot laying in the grass, that I had been too lazy to pickup, never even moved it...
fortunately we were out of town Friday night, came back Saturday, electric came back on last night about 7PM, phone and internet just now..
I may not make it to one of my favorite races, Memorial Day weekend at Bowling Green...may not be able to get car ready and my Mom isn't doing very well and may need my help.
If I don't get to go it will be OK, it will be disappointing, but I feel very fortunate and BLESSED to still have my home and business and was only inconvenienced slightly with loss of electricity, phone and internet...
1000' they aren't as fortunate

For all of my family, who are often affected by this, when there is severe weather, go here:

It's light years better than anything else you'll find for knowing about severe weather. He has multiple meteorologists, and multiple storm chasers, getting up to date information, and he's tied DIRECTLY to the National Weather Service feeds, including all of their radar.
