Re: LODRS D7 Phoenix
Perfect weather for Phoenix if there ever was any...maybe just a tiny bit too perfect for my cars liking (oh, it loved that cool morning air and track temp for sure, afternoon not as much after the sun beat down on that jet black track a while), always attempting to catch up a bit to a few feet of lower D.A. each and
every morning as the afternoon temp was climbing the opposite way.
Will anyone with a little tiny box of luck sitting on a shelf somewhere (and has not used it up), please forward it to me right away (etsy and ebay does not carry it as I looked, and Luke B. does not have a "Driving The Stripe for really slow guys" course listed!)....racer in need....lol.
Just joking, but dang it. My last 3 race days Sunday, Friday, Sunday I needed just a little luck (CW Hoeffer, CW Hoeffer, Jody Lang). And in all 3 close was just not close enough, even by a few thou. (I still have a sense of humor though...Steel sharpens Steel is all I can say!)
My world is soon to change, Monday after next I drop the car off at RAD in Lake Havasu City to finish up the Holley Ter. X and get out (I hope and pray), of being marred in the 47th Q spot and move up the Q list a bit. We shall see if that helps. But, I would still take a tiny touch of luck too as we are going to soon lose this magic west coast early morning weather fast!
