This is comical, We fill this information out every time single time we enter a national event, when we drive in the gate at divisionals, and they still ask us for a copy before they will pay us. Then, the contingency companies ask for the same information. You'd think NHRA could figure out a way to streamline this process.....

Anyone that pays you for just about anything needs a w9 filled out. It's standard for all businesses. For businesses it's a TIN number for an individual it's your SS number. Nothing that NHRA has any control over. Just fill out a w9 with signature blank and make copies to sign each time it's needed. (An original signed copy is what they want each time)
All those new IRS agents they hired need something to do.

Not in Arizona anymore, the State has stolen all our gas taxes on each gallon sold and are now using those taxes for other uses like budget shortfalls and school vouchers for private schools while our roads decay into potholes and bumping bump crack sealing forever until they are slick Sloppy surfaces.

You claim it as withholding when you file your tax returns.

The data is already there on our NHRA Lic. App., but it is not the required IRS I-9 form format. But yes we also provide it to every track and NHRA to get paid "if and when we win money, and before they cut checks".
