Ed, that's not the point of the thread. Yes I find that selling herself and partnering with a pornography site to be... less than optimal. But the point was I'm tired of money flowing to people who haven't proved themselves as competitive drag racers. I just wanted a chance to say what everyone has noticed over the last 20 years since the dawn of social media and popularity being more important than accomplishment. This seemed like the most blatant example I've seen tbh.
I'm also not saying I'm the one deserving of this either, ain't got shyt aint won shyt, but I'm trying my best!

Dawson that’s how the real world works, get used to it! It’s not how good you are or what you know, it’s who you know and today how big your social media presence is to secure real marketing partners.
Just look at Trump’s cabinet picks, do they all have the credentials, the resume, the proven skills for the role they have been nominated for or is it they are loyal to Trump and will execute his agenda. ![]() Last edited by 1320racer; 12-19-2024 at 04:19 PM. |

it is sad to say that talent doesnt go as far as a social media presence but 1290 is correct, this is the world we live in today. i may be as good at drag racing as anybody but i personally dont want the BS associated with trying to maintain an "online presence". i dont have the time or desire. more power to those that do. i love to beat the people with lots of sponsors and an online presence. that is what motivates me. nothing is more satisfying than winning with, shall we say, not the best equipment.
ask yourself this. why do not so great looking nascar drivers who will never win anything have hot wives. it is not the looks or talent. ep-i still like cleavage and hot nascar wives ' |

Especially as the costs started rising... They say a racer would sell his momma to keep racing... Just depends on ones moral turpitude... Not unlike a lot of "businesses"... Look at Hollywood or politics... |

agree, good looking woman who's business with her husband is social media marketing. Seems to me Mrs. Swoop has proven she knows her business and gets results! Bravo
