Marc
I have always felt the same, but spending 2 grand for a non-functioning converter over 6 months ago, sending it back and no word for over a month, makes me wonder.
If anyone knows some way of contacting him I would sure appreciate it. I have left several messages on his business number and his cell.
Hope he?s ok and is just preoccupied.

You can PM me through Class Racer.

Thanks in advance

Just talked to Montgomery @ UCC, simple mistake of losing track of my converter, he was upset with the situation and could not have been more apologetic about what happened.
Told him that no apology was necessary just needed to be contacted on what was going on and again he agreed completely.
He still is my Converter Guy, and I will not hesitate to use him and recommend his business.

Hi Guys, haven't been on since I retired and thought I should post. RJ, I am also sorry about this situation and dealing with you in the past know that you are a standup guy. I consult with Montgomery almost everyday about all things he needs help and questions on. I am not making any excuses for not being on top of customer calls and not being timely getting back, this is a must to take care of every customer. Customer service is paramount.
This being said, the business is doing extremely well and he is a little overwhelmed, but as time goes on he will he will find his way with a couple of good employees and more experience in the business, but always the same as we always did, customer service always comes first! I hope all the Class Racers are doing well and having fun.
PS- David Lee, as far as you trying to finding the business, try Google earth at 234b Pineland Drive- Andrews , SC

It's near impossible to find good help, especially for something like a torque converter business, I have a friend who runs one on his own, other than having his wife deliver occasionally. I wish him luck in hiring.

I hear ya Alan, it's been that way for quite some time. But with some initiative and drive, a small business will survive! Big companies serve the masses, smaller business need to be customer oriented

I hear ya Alan, bigger companies thrive on the mass production and varied product lines, which is a great accomplishment. Where as a smaller company that offers one product line, concentrating on one off products and personal service is something that I think is missing these days. Which we based this on when we opened UCC in 2004, and your right, even back then it was hard to find the right people, but we found some really good ones , and bad, but you had to power through. Montgomery is a racer and understands the game, just takes time There are not a lot of people that know converters and all the different combos, and there are a lot of different types of racing and combos out there.
