I've had it on most of the weekend in my shop. Everyone on the announcers deck has done a great job on what has to be a difficult race to get through. Thanks.

Just like in Baytown, and they even owned a paving company and they still would not throw some scraps down for sportsman racers.
Great idea plus give the companies a place in the suites free for every race free food, and they purchase their drinks Problem solved

Congratulation's to Jim and Linda Parsons on your win for race #2. Operating on very little sleep from going rounds late into the night for race #1. Congratulation's to Paul Merolla on the runner up.

Congratulation's to Brent Kopejtka on the runner up for race #1.

Sean and Rose

A little reality here -- the scraps your talking about here have to be crushed to be used for gravel ( recycled ) -- this recycled gravel is worth, depending on location , about $300-500 per truck load delivered . wouldn't take long to spend $20-30k

Bob years ago I worked at a major shingle factory back when I was young, our shingles were ground up and used on Texas Highways as road base. Yes there is a costs, however if you own a business that can be written off of your taxes at year end. There are clever ways to do it, just need the intestinal fortitude to do it. Oh and we donated the scrap shingles, contractor already had a grinder that ground them up into small chips.

Paving and concrete companies always have batches that may not meet a customer spec, that could be donated. Yes there will be associated costs, but like Baytown several events sportsman racers had to be pulled out with dozers!
