What Keith said, I always used Rotella 15W-40 but opinions vary wildly. Just be sure to change the fuel filter every other oil change. The Cummins 5.9 is an awesome workhorse.

So I've heard, hoping this ole truck can go another 100k! Just had a trans rebuild too so hopefully won't have any issues there
