I don't know if they just didn't have someone scheduled or that person didn't show for the weekend but, for the most part the guys you heard on the mic were Tyler Crossnoe the GM of VMP and the retired DD Dave Mohn. Tyler Crossnoe was probably in the works of doing track prep and the duties of the GM of a track (Announcing is not normally one of the jobs) so yes did it suck not having someone announcing every run down the track but, we should at least thank Tyler and Dave for jumping up to the plate to give us some info, being on the mic is sometimes a scary thing...I've done it a few times at my events when the announcer goes to the bathroom or takes lunch and it can be a scary thing tryig to get names right, describing MOV and trying to keep people awake and not bore them to death.

More than announcing issues.....lots of other poor (or no) coverage, as noted above.

The only positive thing to add to this is: It’s Free !!!

Sure it stinks not having an announcer.
If we had the one screen that shows the increments that would help tremendously
but that’s not even there. At least we’re not paying for this.
