Default FINALLY!! My Stock Eliminator dream is reality

After years of reading, and more reading, researching, reaching out to veterans of the class, and trying not to overwhelm and burn them down with hot and cold vibes, the day has finally arrived that I'm a Stock Eliminator car owner.

I heeded as much valuable information as I could and decided to go with the ready built direction. It was the best option for me considering what I wanted to achieve before the Division 7 season was over.

As far as I know, this was once Duane Eiskant's car, and ironically, I called him on it back in January of 2020. It went to Larry Peterson that year and he sold it to a person in Michigan. It then went to David in Indiana and now to me here in California. I'd be grateful for any information of the Malibu's history.

Things really took off for me when I applied for and received my competition number in late July. After a good conversation with the office and learning which numbers were available, I wished for and was granted a number that holds some deep significance to me. It's a number some Southern Californians may be familiar with too. Bob Bales once ran with this number.

My number is 7350. This number was meant to be for me and was somehow, miraculously available. The number 73 is my birth year and the number 50 is my Mother's birth year. I turned 50 this year and my Mother would've been 73 this year. She passed away in December last year, just five weeks away from her 73rd birthday. We would've had quite the conversation(s) about how these numbers played out this year. LOVE YOU MOM!!

I'd like to thank David Garrity for making this Malibu available and his patience in completing the transaction. I'd also like to thank Mike Loge for coming through with shipping the Stocker. I'm not sure how my veteran support would like to be unveiled, and I'll do so accordingly with their approval. I'm certain they know who they are, can't thank you fellas enough. My vow to everyone here is that I'll do my very best to contribute to this incredible class and represent this class with diginity.

The first pic is the actual day of arrival, Sept. 5 and the second pic is of the Malibu loaded up to get a physical and check up prior to getting some track time. Can't wait to meet y'all in the lanes.

I can FINALLY remove Future D7 Contestant from my signature!

Didn’t know that Duane owned it. Greg Turk raced it a long time then Larry Peterson raced it ,then David Garrity raced it at the Indy Fall Classic last year. Amazingly the BU is back in California ….

Nice setup Justin! I encourage you to keep it simple.......scrub the enclosed trailers, stackers and toters. Nothing wrong with Pick'em up trucks, open trailers, hotel rooms and eating at the local scarf 'n barf!

Could that car have been owned by Paul Crowe out of Winchester, KY? He ran a very nice black '81 Malibu in the IHRA Crate Motor Stock class in the late 1990's and early 2000's. He was 1998 IHRA Stock World Champ. in it.

I didn't know "Lil" Duane Eiskant owned a Chevy, but it's possible. I remember him with a Ford Mustang and his dad Dwayne Sr., was in IHRA tech.

Duane did not own the car he listed it for a friend, it was owned by Golliday and that’s who Duane listed for. It’s def a fast car…
