Just got word from the track that tomorrows race is cancelled due to heavy rains today, to be re-scheduled.

Yes it would be great to see all our Canadian friends that came to this prior to COVID, Mark Lawton, Wayne Truesdell and maybe even our current world champion the D'Agnolo!

Word is this race has been reschedueled to Sunday Aug. 13th.

So with Storms expected for Tomorrow(Saturday), what is the plan for Sunday? That place will still be soggy from Tuesday's and Thursday's downpours. Wanna go and take my grandson.

Sorry for the late notice. Hacksaw you are correct this race has been rescheduled for this Sunday August 13th at ESTA Safety Park Dragstrip in Cicero NY. I just confirmed this with a track representative. It is not scheduled for tomorrow Saturday August 12th. There was a weak showing last year. Hopefully more can come this year. Spectator attendance typically increases for this event. Come support the track. Weather looks promising.

PS not sure if I am coming due to family illness.

I hear from others that the S/SS racers had great weather yesterday. Howie Smith won in the final against Lance Pinto. Congrats to all!
Next year I hope that both my brother and I make this event with both cars.
There is a 2 race event coming up near Rochester New York Saturday September 16 and Sunday September 17 at Empire Dragway. This is part of the Canadian/American S/SS series (CanAm). Hope to see you there!
