Live from Beech Bend Sportsnationals 2023

It is going to be a beautiful weekend here at Beach Bend! Test and Tune starts at 12-5. Family fun at the Amusement Park 10-4. High today is 78 and Saturday and Sunday look great too. We were #70 pulling in around 6:30 last night. Looks like from a picture I saw this morning they are lined up to the road now. Y’all have fun this weekend! We certainly plan to!

Well it has been a beautiful day here! Anybody who wanted to test got as many runs as they wanted! Super Street goes out first at 9 in the morning. Everyone gets 2 hits then we run Combo at 5 for $5000! Supposed to be another great day tomorrow!

We got to see a lot of old friends and a few old class rivals. MJ Quinn scored us some donuts from Nords Bakery. Thanks again MJ. Plenty of good spots to park. Weather is looking great. Two hits today then the Clay Jones Memorial Race for $5000 and a big check. It an “Open” so no penalty for going to fast. Sunday is eliminations.

What is good to see is the folks that have quit racing a few years ago and have started back with a new combo or back with there old car with good power. The racing family that has a second generation enjoying the sport is always great to see.
