Unfortunately I don’t think there is coverage for some reason, being a double don’t really understand the rationale. Guessing they can’t cover 3 divisionals in one weekend.

It's a bummer for sure! Particulary since they were all set up for it from last week and the fact that this is a double.
It is impossible to understand NHRA's decisions! |

One of the biggest LODRS double-headers of the season (105 Stockers and 70 SSers in the 1st event) and no live streaming.
What were NHRA thinking ??? |

Would seem they make up the schedule as they go as opposed to adhering to the published schedule. The Reynolds race wasn't on the schedule anywhere and then it popped up yesterday (with lots of D4 cars). While appreciate any coverage I had to laugh when the announcer called Kevin Helms SS/CM a crate motor car. Wish Warren was in charge there instead of Noble (note his excellent production from there) but it is what it is. Still a shame they aren't broadcasting from Vegas.

They (*hra) are currently focusing their programming resources in "other areas". Are you surprised ?---maybe the marketing genius at Bud Light is in charge of programming for *hra ---FED 387

As you have already figured out, there are a limited number of people available that do these races. I take as many as I can possibly do. When there are multiples, the tiebreaker will go to Division 4 because of the Rooftec (Rodger Brogdon) Competition Eliminator Bonus Fund program. So, that is where I was scheduled. As it turned out, the Division 2 coverage was a happy accident. I was asked in December about additional coverage for races I couldn't get to; I lined up someone for that event even though it was not on the final schedule (I thought it was). I love doing races in Vegas, just can't be in two places at once.
Not sure if that helps explain it all. Warren |
