All that plus this reporter watched many new pieces of track equipment being used - 2023 must have had a large budget increase for new equipment for sure .

Good morning gang - Welcome to day 1 of the D1 season .Yesterday during the T nT it was sunny with temps in the mid eighties and very little humidity . Downside was the unusual for here was the 29.5o barometer.Track was like i've not seen it ever before - mostly because about every 30 minutes or so during the TnT they stopped and sent out the new machinery and then sprayed .Can't remember a day when I've witnessed so many giant wheelies - hope today is the same .

Today at 9 they will send out Super/street followed by Stock - today weather wise looks like a carbon copy of yesterday -Summer arrived early here in Maryland!!!!!!

I'll check in after rd1 of Stock ........
