Thanx Robin...ideally think something 5.43/5.57 would be a-ok...the 5.71 a bit too much without getting into tire height changes...thought awhile ago was told there was a 5.57 gear set for Explorer 8.8...so guess we'll stay @ 5.13 for present --Drake
