It bothers me to think there are ST/SS racers out there that actually thinks this is real, LOL. If the average racer would pay that kind of money to make 2 runs, probably needs some mental help kind of like gamblers anonymous.

What should bother you more is we pay $180-$200 entry fee for a points meet for NHRA to pay out $1000 (plus contingency lol). That’s what a 10-20% payback.

In Division 1, our payout is 2000.00 to win, and 500.00 from ATI, did they not raise the purse in all divisions?

I haven't cashed in for a couple years but I think it's still 1500 for D2 or it may be 1800.

Charley I really like your business sense, your a true entrepreneur Mickey would've been proud. You saw a need and created a solution so well done lol.
I can tell you from experience on how stressful the situation can be. The last few years while taking time to run a business and raise young children I haven't been able to race as much as I like so I've had to make all kinds of deals to make sure I get into Charlotte and that's twice a year. It's stressful man so can you cut me some slack $1000 bucks is kinda steep. Maybe I could advertise for you in my "Live" reports or something with Ken's blessing of course. Hit me up man Charlotte will be here before we know it not too concerned with other races they always seem to drop below on Monday anyway.

Duane I'm not talking about any bonus payout programs that company's payout, contingences or added entry bonus. I'm talking about what NHRA gives you for winning vs your entry.

Maybe I'm wrong, but maybe some of our 2022 stk/ss points meet winners can confirm what there win check from NHRA was this past season.
But I'm pretty sure most NHRA points meets still payout $1000 to win stock and $1200 to win Superstock.

The last time I won a points meet in stk was in 2020 at Earlville D5
$170 entry fee and $1000 check for winning. So maybe this has changed in the past 24 months

I personally just finished my 3rd year of class racing, but I have been going with my dad since the late 80's. Back then, and through the 90's, there were no quota's. Wouldn't everyone benefit from no quota's? NHRA would make more money, racers with lower grade points could enter any event they choose. Some racers may never compete for a championship, but want a chance at a Wally 2 or 3 times a year. Why has NHRA established quota's? Interested in everyone's answers on this....
