Statements like this get instant hp! Trust me, I know! Oh, wait, there is no instant hp anymore!

If you keep your promise here I guarantee you will get a gift of more weight by NHRA at the end of the year!

Bryan, I’m not asking anyone else to do anything that they choose not to do.
If they want to run 1000’ to save their combo so be it. That’s their choice. I choose to run my stuff, I could care less about the eliminator, I’m there for class! Or the possibility of a heads up during eliminations. That’s why I work on my stuff. I have lost plenty of times, some by my own doing, some by being outrun. I don’t get mad, it just pushes me to do better, performance wise or driving, I own my choices. I hope you don’t take this as I’m attacking you, I’m not, just stating my position that I’m not going to make any deals.

Tom I started this post to be sarcastic because of the recent change in the AHFS. To me the person in charge of the AHFS doesn't get a lot of us that race Stock and Super Stock. The way you say you like to race you should be pissed at the new change also. I have not looked at how fast you can go. But go on go 1 under and faster at the Baby Gators. Keep running your car that way and your going to need to spend more money and time next year just to stay even with what your car can run now with the weight you will be adding. BP.

And the racers that run your same class. That don't work on their cars to go faster nor will spend the money it may also take will have a nice big smile on their face as they get that much closer to you. And you can say Thanks AFHS.

Someone on one of the post said they talked to the person in charge of making the change to the AHFS. That he received a bunch of phone calls about the last change and decided to change it again. What's a bunch of phone calls. Fifty ,sixty. There are a thousand plus of us that have Stock Eliminator cars. So the 350/255 Hp 1969 Chevy was mentioned as an example. Racers with that combo played the go slow to keep your average down game and didn't get HP. Good for them. I like to take a look at Indy without the AHFS in play. You don't get all of the different combo's there but you do get quite a few. Take the H/SA class. When was the last time a 255 Hp 350 has won it? That class has been dominated the last almost ten years by a 305 chevy. I don't think that combo should get HP either. Rod and Chris have spent a lot of time and money to get their car to go that fast. It's my opinion that this last change to the AHFS is a JOKE and a SLAP in the face to any of us that still care about making our cars one of the fastest in the class that they run. BP

Barry, maybe it's because if you look at the Nitro Joe stats for 2022. 17 350 255 cars went a second under, out of those 8 went 1.10 under, and 1 car went 1.369 under. So it was capable of hitting a trigger 17 times with different cars. even when it did at races where it counted, it had enough slower cars to keep the average down. These new rules are gonna wreak havoc on me also being there are only 2 of us in the country running my combo.
