This long and deep recession finally ended following a combination of tax cuts and defense spending under Ronald Reagan.But did he cut taxes on Social Security...NO, he signed into law a tax on it. Kind of like robbing from the old and poor and giving to the rich. There is little I can do about the actions and words of men 70 years ago. What we can do is learn from the past and not continue repeat the same. "They are all good people" is not the answer. |
