If you want a deep dive with Darin Morgan on the engine used in this car watch this:
It is over three hours long but most of the stuff about the Ford engine is towards the front. However tidbits are scattered through the entire interview. I have got to think we will see this engine in Pro Stock someday. |

Great run once again by Clint Neff in the Harry Clack A/ED "concept dragster" at 6,648 sec. on a 7.33 index (0,682 under) at the Nevada National for the first qualifying position in comp.

This time, at the In and Out Burger National, in the first qualifying round of competition, a run from Mr. Neff at 6,509 sec. at 211,46 mph, (0,77 under)
FYI record is:6,64 sec at 200,23 mph. |

I believe Clint bought ALL the parts for this combo that Cunningham had ---Ford only made a very small amount of parts for this engine--- Read the article very interesting read----FED 387

I think the very long Darin Morgan interview gave me the impression that the parts could be had and that a Pro Stock engine was in the works. However enough time has passed I would have thought we would have seen something by now. |
