How are they picking who goes to the barn????? The names listed don't all make sense. Seaburg for going 1.5 under I understand.
Thanks to Doug for photos. Thanks to Ken for photos, videos and info plus racing = cool.

They pick the cars for teardown at random. There were 20 plus cars torn down split between Stock and Super Stock. A Super Stock was bounced for a carb, but I don't know who it was. Also there was a wrong weight issue in Super Stock and they may be get bounced also. We will no more tomorrow when we see who was DQ'd.
The first photo is Don Shuford getting torn down in the typical Indy way. Head, bore stroke, wheelbase and carb. Jim Marshall was had to pull a carb. |

Thanks for the info. The reason I mentioned Seaburg's Comet is he is a great friend and a good racer and works hard on the Comet. Brian has been to Indy multiple times and to the barn multiple times - - just sayin. It is what it is.

Hey guys, I wanted this video to be a view from both cars. I raced Tony Fagnilli in his COPO in the FS/AA class final... a great race, only had him by 3 hundreds. Its a shameless video of me racing... sorry folks.

Oh yes, MIke Cotton spun bad too.. and lost because of it with his stocker. And they were both in the right hand lane, just like Larry Hill just was in the B/SA final.. and free wheeled. Last edited by djm670; 09-01-2022 at 11:11 PM. |
