What Rich said. I always put a fan to blow the hot exhaust away from the air intake, even in cooler weather.

is it as simple to just run a flexable tube down to the onan intake pipe and run it up to better air on front or side of onan gen to get better air than the super heated air under gen set. there is a Ibeam seperating intake and exhaust , but it is extremly hot under the trailer
