Guys -

Thanks for all of the concern. I am going to be ok. I do have a concussion and I am VERY sore from being thrown around like a ragdoll.... however, it is quite eveident that this could have been much worse.
I just this year started wearing a neck collar even though they are not mandatory, and mostly to get the wife off the back..(LOL) but now I am thankful that I had one on because I know that it helped to prevent anything further.

I would like to thank the saftey crew at Lakeland, they did a great job, and also Doug for being so concerned and making sure that I was ok.

I believe that it was the rearend that locked up that caused the spin, but we will be tearing everything apart in the days to come and will make sure that we keep you up to date.

Mike -
Jacob says he learned his lesson about tires and water even on a bike... LOL

See everyone on the 25th of May for the stock super stock race there!!

Glad to hear both generations of Waibel's involved in incidents will recover nicely We might see you May 25, we have requested permission to make 2 or 3 exhibition runs that day. Take care, Mike

I'm sorry to hear you were hurt on that run. It did not look that bad from the stands. I noticed you had problems right from the start when you brought the rpm's up against the converter it moved foward and you redlighted and when you hit the brakes it wiggled back and forth a couple of times and when you came to a stop you were a little sideways. I couldn't figure out what happened as I never saw any smoke from your tires and you just sat there until your tow truck came down.
